The compact DiREX-ONE network video encoders are
available with progressive scan or as a dual resolution version. Proprietary H.264+ approach with AME
(Advanced Motion Estimation) delivering up to 40% more video
compression efficiency than standard H.264-BP implementations.
The Power-over-Ethernet version with 12V output provides for compact PoE units (IEEE 802.3af) with no
additional power supply needed.
No any special IP-NVRs (network video recorders) are necessary - if required,
the recording of the video data can be performed on two network attached storage devices
(NAS) and on a directly connected BWA-UDOCK1 (hot-swappable storage system with rugged HDD cartridges) simultaneously.
In 2010 BWA moved its facilities to Muenster in Westphalia.
Here we are not only close to an exhibition centre location in the city of Essen but also
easily accessible for our customers. Our new "headquarters" provides more space
and has comfortable seminar rooms.

The dustproof encapsulated storage medium is extremely robust
and, among others is perfect suitable for automotive use. It provides numerious
advantages compared to conventional hard drives, as well as to commonly used flash SSDs.
Just in time for the IFSEC show in Birminhgam (UK)
we introduce a unique, swappable HDD memory system. It provides all the advantages,
which are expected from a hard disk data
medium: ultra-high-speed, high memory capacity and immediate
access to data. An extended input voltage range, power supply output
and USB screw locking feature allow for industrial use in many mobile
applications. The motor-driven media loading mechanism allows removing
the data carrier during operation (hot-pluggable).
The VPN functionality of the MR-36 router has been
significantly extended. The update provides also numerous additional new features. The DiREX-M.SD
configuration software,
as well as data sheets have been updated as well.

Security-Essen 2008 – the trade fair highlights of BWA
We would like to thank you!
Thanks to a USB GPS receiver BWA is able to show a live
video broadcasting of the BWA booth with direct connection to Google Maps. At the same time,
three other places which had been at a distance of hundreds of kilometers had been monitored
by Multi-Vision software via 3G/UMTS access. The product presentation of the realtime recorder
DiREX-M.SD with full PAL resolution has already given rise to a considerable number of advance
orders. The BWA Specials with attractive special promotional offers and current offers are one
new feature of the website.

Portable recorder – ideal accompanying and also for direct installation on site
The recorder enables the user to record directly onto the SDHC memory card,
in a full PAL resolution. The device can be used in a wide range of conditions, as it can withstand
temperatures between -20 and +45 °C and the screw connection is dustproof. The low weight and
the memory capacity of up to 32 GB meet even the highest requirements for mobile devices.

BWA Multi-Vision –

The recently introduced free software package is the result of our long-term
development efforts and offers many useful and unique features for video analysis. This software allows cascading of
multiple location-independent DVRs into a single comprehensive system. Its design is modular and contains all the
required video codecs.
